How to Qualify for a Grant from the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery Foundation

Applying for a grant of any kind can be daunting. And when the opportunity to receive funds for an essential surgery is on the line, it can be especially so. We at the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery (AiRS) Foundation understand. That’s why we’ve worked hard to ensure that applying for one of our grants for financial aid toward breast reconstruction is as easy as possible.

Qualifications

Before beginning the application process, check to make sure that you are eligible for one of our grants. To qualify as a candidate for the AiRS Foundation breast reconstruction program, you must be able to do the following things:

  1. Complete an online application with the AiRS Foundation.
  2. Provide copies of your tax returns for the most recent two tax years.
  3. Demonstrate household income at or below 100 percent of the federal poverty guidelines.
  4. Sign the the AiRS Foundation News & Publication Authorization Form
