Resources for Transportation

The following agencies may offer assistance towards transportation to treatments and procedures.

Although we have provided a short description, programs and fund availability can change.  Please contact the organization for more information on eligibility and how to apply.

The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery® program eases your burden by giving free rides to cancer-related medical appointments. Our trained volunteer drivers are happy to pick you up, take you to your appointment, and drop you off at home.

The CFAC is a searchable network of organizations that provide assistance with a variety of expenses.

Good Days provides financial support towards co-pays and travel expenses for patients with chronic illness, including metastatic breast cancer.

Mercy Medical Angels provides assistance in the air with commercial airline tickets and volunteer pilots, and on the ground with gas cards, bus and train tickets – at No-Cost to Patients.

PAF offers a searchable and extensive list of resources/organizations to help with a large variety of things.

Pink Aid offers financial assistant towards transportation to and from hospital visits and treatment centers to include Uber gift cards, car loan payments and car insurance premiums.  Applications must be submitted by a social worker.

The Komen Financial Assistance Program offers asstistance for daily costs to eligible individual undergoing active breast cancer treatments.

UBCF’s Individual Grant Program provides financial support to breast cancer patients and survivors within 3 years remission for medical procedures, prescription medications, COBRA insurance coverage, housing expenses, utilities, therapeutic treatments, transportation, vehicle insurance, healthy and nutritious food and housekeep services.  The application process can take up to 12 weeks.
