Host A Golf Event

We’re excited about your interest in hosting a golf event benefitting the AiRS Foundation.
Here are a few considerations, ideas and details to get you started.

Types of Golf Events

Tournament or Scramble

This event will require several months of planning, organizing and advertising. The event itself will last between 6-8 hours including set up and awards.  You’ll benefit from putting a committee together to organize sponsors, prizes and to have manpower for set up and clean up.  Your participants will need to register in advance.  You can combine this with a raffle or silent auction to bring in more funds!!

Golf Play Day

This type of event will require at least a few weeks of planning, organizing and advertising.  Participants will register ahead of time and will pay a set price for the experience.  You can include a meal and possibly a speaker.  You can have fun awards, incorporate themes for dressing up, and even decorate the golf carts!  Maybe even have a raffle!!

Golf Venue 

This is a very informal event that will require a few weeks of planning at a minimum.  Participants can register ahead of time or at the event.  They will be paying a fee to participate in a day or night of fun at a golf event center or range.  You can include a meal, different competitions (like longest drive or highest score), a raffle, etc…
