Breast cancer can result in employment disruptions, extra medical and non-medical expenses, and changes in living situations. The following organizations may provide assistance with living expenses such as rent, utilities, food and more.

This is a financial assistance program that serves the breast cancer community through one-time grants for living expenses.
PAF offers a searchable and extensive list of resources/organizations to help with a large variety of issues.
Pink Aid provides emergency assistance towards “critical non-medical household expenses” while you are undergoing active treatment for breast cancer. The application must be submitted by a social worker.
The Pink Fund provides assistance to people experiencing a loss of income during active cancer treatment. Please note, reconstruction is not included as an active cancer treatment.
The Komen Financial Assistance Program offers assistance for daily costs to eligible individuals undergoing active breast cancer treatments.
UBCF’s Individual Grant Program provides financial support to breast cancer patients and survivors within 3 years of remission for medical procedures, prescription medications, COBRA insurance coverage, housing expenses, utilities, therapeutic treatments, transportation, vehicle insurance, healthy and nutritious food and housekeeping services.The application process can take up to 12 weeks.
